I’m paying for this gym membership, yet this unwanted fat isn’t moving…sound familiar?
I think it’s fair to say we’ve all had this problem at some stage. If you haven’t, then I speak on behalf of everyone when I say ‘F**k you, you lucky shit’!
But, surely it’s a simple equation, you pay £50 or even £150 a month (#BallerAlert) and you reach your fitness goals and burn off any unwanted fat, right?
So, if this isn’t happening we should all be storming reception and demanding our full refunds! Haha – if only!
I’ll let you in on a little secret. You can achieve the results you want without putting a huge dent in your pocket. Check out these 3 simple outdoor exercises to save you money and burn your stubborn fat…
1. Run forest run
I know, you may be thinking Sul, I’m not a runner, Sul I’ve got bad knees, Sul, running bores me. I appreciate running isn’t for everyone. However, there are different forms of running which can make it more exciting.
Find a friend or work colleague to go for a run with, challenge someone to a race, run up and down the stairs.
Schedule in an outdoor run 3-4 times a week to see results sooner rather than later.
2. Skip-piddy skip skip
Get yourself a skipping rope. A small investment, which will make a big impact.
Everyone can skip, now it may take practice to get really good at it, but that’s the same with everything in life.
Mix up your skipping style with high knees, quick skips, slow skips, skip forwards, backward, and throw in a little dance between hops.
3. Monkey around
Monkey around! Put together an outdoor circuit of body weight exercises. Include a variation of squats, jumps, lunges, press-up and more.
Final note: If you really want results mix and match each step. So, after you’ve finished running, starting monkeying around.
