How do you bring positive energy into your life?
Energy! The thing that truly makes the world go around. Positive or negative we are all releasing some type of energy into the universe.
A friend of mine recently said this powerful statement, “We. Are. Energy”, and I loved this saying because it’s so pure, so honest, and so true.
Once you realize that you are energy and in turn the controller of the energy you radiate, I believe you will approach life with a different perspective and gain a deeper more positive outlook on your life.
Listen, I know, there are days when you’re just like I can’t be asked with all of that. I’m tired, I’m hungry, and I’m upset (50,000 on my head is disrespect #drake). Trust me I get it, being hangry is a serious issue, haha.
But, “Sul, how do I bring positive energy into my life?”
1. Gratitude
One of the most overlooked factors in bringing positive energy into your life is gratitude. Take time to write down all the things you’re grateful for in your life, family, friends, opportunities, health, even your fuck-buddy (they serve a purpose for your positivity). The first thing I do every morning is write down 3 things I’m grateful for. It could be anything.
2. Acceptance
This can be a challenge and I have personally struggled with it. However, acceptance of people and circumstances is a great way to let go of any negative energy and move yourself to a place of positive energy. As you tell yourself “I accept this and have the power to move forward” you will feel that beautiful shift in energy!
3. Movement
This comes in many forms, such as physical activity, walking or dancing. You can’t be dancing and be emitting negative energy, it’s just not possible. The use of movement will help release any stress, whilst bringing out those positive endorphins.
4. Laughter
You may have heard this saying “laughter is the best medicine”. When you laugh or smile you are emitting positivity both internally and externally. I’m a strong advocate of learning to make yourself laugh or laughing at your own stupidity (as I do). Although, if that sounds too crazy for you, spend time with people who make you laugh or watch some funny movies.
5. Tell yourself
Literally tell yourself, “I’m going to be positive today, and I’m going to see the positive in all situations, no matter what happens”. If you can’t see a positive in a situation, accept it as it is, and move onto the next positive experience.
There you have it, the 5 things you can do to bring MORE positive energy into your life because let’s be honest, you’re already sexy, happy, and positive, just me like #PositiveSexSymbols haha.
