How’s it going! So this is the first segment of my adventures around the world.
This weekend I flew to Amsterdam for the first time with one of my boys. I’ve always wanted to hit Amsterdam and it’s crazy to think it’s only a 45-50 minute flight away from the UK. I’ve written this post live, so things are either happening now or the morning after, with a mixture of photos and videos. I hope you enjoy!
At the moment, I’m writing on the plane. Shock before I’ve even taken off there’s been problems with my luggage! Basically, I haven’t flown in a long time! So I’ve brought my hand-luggage along with a mini suitcase to the gate before boarding. However, I knew I was bringing extra luggage so paid an extra £32 to carry on both. Anyway, here comes this grumpy old Godfather looking dude, kicking off because I’m not supposed to go through the gate with both and I’ll have to pay an extra £45. “Wait, What! Why did I pay £32 then -___-!”
Then he has the cheek to say I should have read the terms & conditions! WHO THE HELL reads the terms & conditions for HAND LUGGAGE, You know what I mean! The terms & condition were like 40 pages long! Anyway, cue the Sule charm 😉 Luckily enough, there was a women at the gate, so I had to sweet her up, like “sorry madam, I never knew, I understand this is your job, but this is my first time flying, I’m all alone :(, basically chatting as much shit as possible to get through this bloody gate” I got through without paying so it’s all good! They don’t want you to explore haha!
We’re about to take off so I’ll catch up with you on Saturday morning and let you know what I get up tonight.
(Saturday morning)…Alright before I tell you this, one thing I want to do is run through the streets of every country I explore. With that being said, I don’t know how, but I went for a 6K run and managed to get lost. For about 15 minutes I was walking around clueless trying to find my way back haha! At the end, I had to ask for direction haha.
Last night was decent for a first night, we dropped our luggage off at our Airbnb and ended up walking around for about 5 hours, checking out the different areas in Amsterdam. Mate! The red light district is surreal, no joke, literally women standing naked in a red window, trying to tempt you in. I’ll be honest, I saw one woman who was a strong 9/10, no joke she was special (I didn’t go in before you get any idea, but she was something, she looked like Pocahontas). Oh and we hit this club called Escape, I wouldn’t recommend it. It was like those clubs you go to when you just turn 18 and your egar to go anywhere. Put it this way, we got in wearing Nike Tech pants and trainers, near enough my gym kit. I’m off to lunch now so catch up with you in a bit…Just finished lunch at this nice little restaurant near the central called Panish and got a pork filled bum with a salad on the side. Next stop, central for a bit of shopping, photography and visiting a couple different museums.
Boy, the sex museum! I was recommended this by a friend, so thought why not check it out, it could be interesting. It was probably one of the strangest places I’ve been to in a long time. However, at the same time weirdly interesting to see how long porn has been around for. This is definitely somewhere to visit if you’re in Amsterdam. We also hit the Amsterdam Museum, which was less exciting but more informative.
That was the day, now we’re getting ready to get turnt tonight! We’ve got tickets for this club call Club Air, which is meant to be one of the best clubs in Dam. So let’s see how this goes. (if you have me on Snapchat @Sulsworld, you would have got a live feed).
So it’s Sunday morning and yes, you probably expected I’ve got a major hangover! Club Air was intense! Some serious shapes were cut last night, I tell ya. Word of note, I went there on the recommendation from a friend who’s a hardcore house raver. I didn’t actually expect that much house music! It was basically a Saturday night gym session, proper Zumba workout. It’s a good night out, but isn’t for the faint-hearted, so you’ve been warned!
I’ve got one more full day here so let’s see what happens.
Monday afternoon…
Yesterday was super chilled out. Amsterdam is a really small city so you’re able to do a lot in a short space of time. We spent the day chilling out in our apartment. Then went to watch the football and take some people photography around Dam square. The evening was a bit more interesting because I got a few tinder matches and meet up with these two dutch girls, who ended up taking me and my friend to this exclusive bar / restaurant in the center. Tinder, definitley isn’t a bad thing to have on holiday haha. After dinner and drinks, we went back to the red light district to take a few more photos before checking out a peep show.
If you don’t already know, a peep show it basically a mini live porn-show. So, you pay €2 and you can watch either a man & women having sex live or a naked woman playing with herself for about 45-60 seconds. What’s more funny, is that, there are 5 other people watching at the same time and when we looked across we saw one guy masturbating in his booth – just wrong haha! Think of how many euros he must have paid haha. It’s definitely an experience and I would recommend it. (Oh and I caught this guy walking out of sex house, look at the guilt on his face Hahaha)
Our final stop before heading home was to the museum of prostitution back on the Red light district. Definitely more intense than the sex museum, I felt like I walked into a scene from 50 shades of grey.
Finally, we hit China town for some food and I tried these amazing dough balls rolled in pork, Sheng Jian Bao, that’s the name, ah, beautiful balls ahaha. Now I’m on my way back to London sat between a guy and his misses, definitely not awkward haha.
Back home
It feels weird to be back home, even though I was in Amsterdam for a short period of time I felt like I’d been there for a few months. I would definitely recommend checking it out for anyone who hasn’t been before.
Thank you for reading, if you’ve made it to the end please leave a comment letting me know what you thought of this post, plus any feedback. Also, subscribe to my website, to get your weekly inspiration and news. Peace & Love Sul

Oh nice! Haha Yeah, that club was intense. Really good night out though.
If you haven’t been before I would definitely recommend it, at least once.
I loved this post, my dad lives in Amsterdam so I’m lucky enough to visit a few times a year.
Escape was the first big club I ever went to at the age of 18 which made me laugh after you’re comment, I was actually in studio 80 the club next door for NYE, the Dutch love their house!
I recommend if you ever want to visit again definitely go for kings day in April and also check out the Heineken meusuem, keep up the good work bro ??
Nice, I wish I had family there. Beautiful place to visit, especially if you’re looking to get away for a short break!
Haha, yeah Escape was really bad! Yeah, a few people did actually recommend going back there in April for the Kings day, apparently its like non-stop partying on every corner. I’ll more than likely go back up during summer for a couple day and definitely visit the Heineken museum.
Thanks for taking the time out the read the post bro!
Such a beautiful place and the people are amazing. No worries man, love you’re work!
